For Photographers

From me to you...

If you're a photographer looking to learn more about me or editing in general, or if you're looking to learn more about my approach, you are in the right place.

Here is a little more information about the gear I use and some fun before and after sliders to play with.

If you want to learn about any of my gear, click on the "Gear" link or the "Before & After" Link to see some of my before and afters.

Enjoy.

Gear

I currently own three cameras!

Nikon D3200

Nikon D750

Nikon D850

My first camera, which I only refer to as Nicki, is my D3200. The camera that started everything, the reason I am where I am today. I have recently upgraded to the D750, who's name is Tia and has been such an amazing new part of my gear as well as my D850! I have also worked with my grandfather's old film camera, check out my Instagram

LENSES

A lens connoisseur I am, but I will keep it brief.

Sigma 35mm 1.4

Sigma 70-200 2.8

I could mention my "nifty fifty" like every photographer out there would do, but I recently switched to prime lenses, and I have nothing bad to say! I will go nowhere without my Sigma lens or as I have come to know her, 'Sister Sig.'

Invest in good glass. It is better to have one good lens instead of several "okay" lenses; get something you can count on.

Before & After

If you know me, you know I've always wanted sliders on my website. Now that I have them, you can bet I spent too long playing with them.

Warm tones that keep skin intact with a dash of mood but not too dark or mysterious.

A balance of warmth, mood, and mystery.

Balancing overwhelming colors and adding moody tones without making the photos too dark.
