Yosemite National Park Elopement | Yosemite Destination Wedding Photographer
From our first conversation over the phone shortly after their initial inquiry with me, I knew Bret & Beau would have a fantastic day celebrating their elopement at Yosemite National Park. When we first spoke, these two had a vision of bringing about their love of the outdoors and traveling but also their love for one another in their photographs. When I heard this, I knew exactly how their day could unfold to reflect and stay true to their vision. B&B trusted me to capture their intimate wedding surrounded by a few of their close friends and family at the top of Taft Point.
The day began with a unique first look with the couple at El Capitan meadow, where they exchanged a few tears and special words as they put on their final touches. There was something so incredible about working with these two that made me tear up many times over. Seeing their love for one another was one of the most amazing and intimate experiences I have ever been trusted to capture.
If I had to pick, out of all the weddings I have been able to capture during the 2021 season, this one easily makes it to the top. Not only was the light BEYOND PERFECT, but everything went so incredibly smooth. We spent only a few hours in the park together and every minute passed felt like seconds ticking by. I tell every one of my couples to take in the day and be intentional about how they choose to spend their time because before you know it, everything will come to an end, and your wedding day will be over. It is not something to be sad about though, that is why I am here. Just as I did with Bret & Beau, those subtle and quick moments that pass, I capture every one down to the last tear and smile.
