San Francisco Bay Area Intimate Wedding | Bay Area Destination Wedding Photographer
When the art curator of the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art reaches out to you to photograph her and her British husband's intimate wedding on a cruise in the Bay Area, you say YES. Ana & Ben met in the most fantastic way possible, and when they told me their story, it made me want to travel all over Europe. While finishing their art degrees and studying abroad in Italy, Ana first met Ben in the quaint streets of the country, where they connected over their shared interest in Art and eventually formed quite the connection. After a few years of getting to know one another's family and many flights across the ocean, Ana & Ben decided they were ready to celebrate their love. With the company of a few close family members in the San Francisco bay on one of the amazing Hornblower Cruises, the two said their "I Do's."
The day was an absolute dream to photograph. Learning the details of A&B's love was the primary goal because I wanted to share their love of Art and where they both spent time living together in the Presidio.
Ana & Ben were able to celebrate with Ana's family in California, and unfortunately, due to the pandemic, Ben's family in the UK could not make it. Being able to document their day and capture every detail was extra crucial because many people were restricted from visiting due to the travel restrictions. COVID weddings can be very stressful to have, but as you explore A&B's gallery, the memories only mean more, and the photographs speak for themselves.
